BuJo partnered with the MDP to evaluate food delivery as a potential growth opportunity for the business. As a fast-casual restaurant brand built on sustainability, convenience and high-quality food and service, BuJo wanted to identify a delivery model that could support future growth while maintaining its brand values and delivering an excellent customer experience.
What we delivered for BuJo:
• Comprehensive research project exploring the Irish food delivery market and its potential as a sustainable growth channel
• Analysis of successful and unsuccessful delivery models, both nationally and internationally, to identify best practices and key market trends
• Consumer observation research conducted around BuJo restaurant locations to understand customer profiles and behaviours
• In-depth interviews with BuJo and non-BuJo customers to explore perceptions, expectations and attitudes towards food delivery services
• Development of a consumer decision-making journey highlighting customer needs, motivations and delivery expectations
• Identification of key insights relating to food quality, delivery experience, convenience and brand perception
• Strategic recommendation of an appropriate delivery model designed to support growth while maintaining BuJo's commitment to sustainability, quality and customer service
